  • Plans to Reopen

The entire plan is founded on wisdom and safety. We want to be wise in coming back together to meet well and stay focused on our mission. We want to be safe, which means we must recognize that we have many in our congregation who are or are closely connected with people who are among the high-risk population with regard to Covid-19. Above all, we meet together with the Spirit of unity and the bond of peace as one body (Ephesians 4:1-6). Meeting in-person at first will mean we are actually meeting in a hybrid virtual/in-person form. It will be interesting, awkward, wonderful, and a whole lot of other things. Above any of that, may it be to God's glory.

Thanks for your patience in this process. One more note. As we continue to gather online, let's kick things up a notch. If you are able to engage with questions when they are asked and engage with guests (by saying "hi") or even inviting others to join us, let's practice that kind of hospitality and see what God does!

While this will never take the place of in-person worship services, it is clear that for the foreseeable future we will need to adjust our habits...click here to continue reading
